ABOUT Soya chunks and green peas curry RECIPE

It is very simple but flavourful curry. You can serve it with rice , chapati or parantha. It is a protein rich dish which is very good for growing children.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup soya chunks ( soaked in hot water)
  2. Green peas 2 cup
  3. Onion 1 large chopped
  4. Ginger 2 teaspoon chopped
  5. Garlic 2 teaspoon chopped
  6. Green chillies 2 slitted
  7. Tomato puree 1 cup
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  10. Turmeric Powder 1 teaspoon
  11. Kitchen king masala 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  13. Cloves 2
  14. Bay leaves 2
  15. Ghee 2 tablespoon
  16. Water 2 cup
  17. Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Make puree of onion, ginger and garlic. Heat a pressure cooker and add ghee. When it is hot add cloves, cumin seeds , and bay leaves. Roast it for 2 minutes.
  2. Add onion puree and cook till ghee seprates add tomato puree.
  3. Cook till ghee seprates. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and kitchen king. Mix well. Add soya chunks and roast for 3 minutes.
  4. Add green peas ,slitted green chillies and water. Close the lid . Cook till 3 whistle.
  5. Open the lid and add coriander leaves. Your soya chunks and green peas curry is ready to serve.
