Ingredients to make Carrot and onion chella

  • besan 1 cup
  • semolina 4 tablespoon
  • Rice flour 4 tablespoon
  • onion 3 tablespoon chopped
  • carrot 1 grated
  • green chillies 1 chopped
  • kasoori methi 1 teaspoon
  • coriander leaves 1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Carrom seeds1 teaspoon
  • oil for frying
  • water for making batter

How to make Carrot and onion chella

  1. Mix besan, semolina and rice flour.
  2. Add all other ingredients except oil. And make a batter with the help of water.
  3. Mix well and set aside for 10 mintues.
  4. Now heat tawa and apply oil on tawa. Now with the help of a spatula spread the mixture over the tawa and cook turn over the side carefully. Cook from both sides apply oil on low flame.
  5. Make other cheelas in the same way. Your carrot and onion cheela is ready to serve. Serve it with chutney.

My Tip:

You can add vegetables of yourchoice..
