Ingredients to make Amritsari langar dal

  • Black urad dal half cup(soaked Overnight)
  • chana dal half cup( soaked overnight)
  • onion 3 chopped
  • garlic cloves 8 -10
  • ginger 1 inch grated
  • tomato 2 big blanched
  • salt to taste
  • Red pepper 1 tblpn
  • Corriander powder 1 tblspn
  • cumin powder 1 tblspn
  • oil 1/2 small bowl
  • butter to garnish
  • Corriandar to garnish

How to make Amritsari langar dal

  1. Wash soaked dal and get 3 whistle in pressure cooker
  2. Take kadai.put mustard oil in it.heat it. Add chopped garlic ,grated ginger.Add chopped Onion and let it fry .Add red pepper and add chopped tomato.let it turn soft
  3. Add salt,cumin and corriander powder and mix it.when the colour turn brown add cooked dal and get a boil
  4. Garnish with butter and dhania
