Ingredients to make No Onion, No Garlic Kabuli Chana

  • Soaked kabuli Channa 2 cup
  • Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • water 1/2 cup
  • Cooking oil 1 tsp
  • mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • urad dal 1 tsp
  • red chilli 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • coriander leaves chopped 1/4 tsp

How to make No Onion, No Garlic Kabuli Chana

  1. TAKE 2 CUPS SOAKED & DRAINED CHICKPEAS, ADD 1/2 CUP WATER
  2. ADD SALT TO TASTE, PRESSURE COOK TILL 1 WHISTLE
  3. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD 1 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS
  4. ADD 1 TSP URAD DAL, 1 DRY RED CHILLI, FRY
  5. ADD 1/2 CUP FRESH COCONUT
  6. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, SAUTE
  7. ADD THE COOKED & STRAINED CHICKPEAS, SIMMER FOR 2-3 MINS
  8. ADD 1/4 CUP FRESH CORIANDER, MIX & TAKE OFF HEAT
