Broccoli Cheese Samosa

Ingredients to make Broccoli Cheese Samosa

  • 1/2 big broccoli head
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup +2 tbsp maida
  • 1.5 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp soft butter
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Broccoli Cheese Samosa

  1. INGREDIENTS
  2. MIX FLOUR, SALT AND WATER. KNEAD THE DOUGH
  3. ADD 1 TSP OLIVE OIL AND KNEAD SMOOTH DOUGH
  4. COVER DOUGH WITH DAMP CLOTH, KEEP IT ASIDE
  5. FINELY CHOP BROCCOLI FLORETS
  6. HEAT 2 TBSP BUTTER, ADD BROCCOLI AND SAUTE FOR 2 MINUTES
  7. ADD SALT, PEPPER AND GARLIC POWDER. MIX WELL
  8. ADD 2 TBSP FLOUR. MIX WELL
  9. ADD 1 CUP MILK, MIX WELL
  10. ONCE MILK STARTS HEATING UP, ADD RED CHILLI FLAKES AND CHEESE. MIX WELL
  11. STIR IN BETWEEN. ALLOW THE MIXTURE TO THICKEN ON HIGH HEAT
  12. ONCE MIXTURE THICKENS, SWITCH OFF
  13. ADD FRESH AND DRY BREAD CRUMBS. MIX WELL
  14. TRANSFER THE MIXTURE TO PLATE. ALLOW TO COOL FOR 5 MINUTES
  15. ROLL DOUGH INTO MEDIUM CHAPATI, CUT IN HALF
  16. APPLY WATER TO EDGES AND ROLL LIKE SAMOSA
  17. ADD BROCCOLI STUFFING, SEAL EDGES
  18. DO UNTIL DOUGH AND STUFFING IS COMPLETED
  19. FRY SAMOSA UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  20. ALLOW EXCESS OIL TO BE ABSORBED
  21. SERVE HOT WITH KETCHUP
