  • carrot slices 1 cup
  • gram flour 3/4 cup
  • cornflour 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • buttermilk 1/4 cup
  • water 1/4 cup
  • Ajwain 1/4 cup
  • fennel seeds 1/4 cup
  • chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • asafoetida a pinch
  • Cooking oil

How to make Crispy Carrot Pakoras

  1. GRAM FLOUR, CORNFLOUR
  2. SALT, ASAFOETIDA, AJWAIN, FENNEL SEEDS
  3. CHILLI POWDER, BUTTERMILK
  4. COMBINE WELL
  5. ADD WATER AND PREPARE BATTER
  6. DIP CARROT SLICES
  7. MAKE SURE BATTER COATED BOTH THE SIDES
  8. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  9. FRY TILL CRISPY IN LOW FLAME
  10. FLIP AND FRY
  11. REMOVE ON KITCHEN TOWEL, ALLOW TO REMOVE THE EXCESS OIL
