Apple crumble muffins

Ingredients to make Apple crumble muffins

  • corn meal (makki ka atta) 125 gm
  • corn flour 20 gm
  • chopped apples sprinkled with lime juice 200 gm
  • almond meal 50 gm
  • chopped almonds 20 gm
  • powdered sugar 50 gm
  • butter 100 gm
  • baking powder 1 tsp or 4 gm
  • cinnamon powder 1 tsp or 5 gm
  • 2 eggs

How to make Apple crumble muffins

  1. Grease a muffin tray and preheat the oven.
  2. Mix the corn meal, corn flour, almond meal, baking powder and cinnamon powder together and sieve to mix well.
  3. Mix the sugar and butter together and whisk till fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs to sugar butter ix an whisk to mix well.
  5. Now fold the flour mix with the butter sugar mix. Add the cubed apples too and fold lightly.
  6. Pour into muffin tray, sprinkle with the chopped almonds and bake at 180C for 35 minutes or till the muffins look golden brown.
  7. cool and dust with icing sugar to serve.

My Tip:

Add some dehydrated cherries for more texture.
