  • Cooked rice 2 cup
  • Cooking oil 2 tsp
  • mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • urad dal 1 tsp
  • red chilli 1
  • curry leaves few
  • Groundnut few
  • garlic cloves 8-10
  • tamarind syrup 2 tsp
  • Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste

How to make Garlic Flavoured Tamarind Rice

  1. HEAT OIL, ADD MUSTARD SEEDS AND RED CHILLI, LET IT SPLUTTER
  2. ADD URAD DAL, LET IT FRY
  3. ADD GROUNDNUT, CURRY LEAVES AND GARLIC, FRY THEM
  4. ADD TAMARIND SYRUP
  5. ADD GRATED COCONUT AND COOKED RICE, MIX WELL IN LOW FLAME
  6. ADD SALT TO TASTE, MIX WELL AND SERVE
