Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For cover
  2. Potatoes 2 large
  3. Bread crumbs 1medium size bowl
  4. Salt to taste
  5. For filling
  6. Fresh grated coconut 2-3 cups
  7. Sugar powdered 1 cup
  8. Few resins (optional)
  9. Cardamom powder 1tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil and mash potatoes
  2. Add salt and 1/2breadcrumbs and mix well
  3. Keep aside
  4. In another bowl, mix together ingredients for filling
  5. Take a lemon size Ball of the potato mixture. Dip in the breadcrumbs and form a hollow katori
  6. Put about 1tbsp of filling in the centre and close to form a ball
  7. Deep fry the balls in oil
  8. Drain on a tissue paper
  9. Serve hot with sweetened curd
