Tomato rasam without onion and garlic. It is very simple and tasty accompanied with rice.

  1. Tomato chopped 2
  2. Water
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Jaggery 1 lemon sized
  5. Chilli powder 1 tsp
  6. Coriander leaves chopped 1 tsp
  7. For seasoning...
  8. Cooking oil 1 tsp
  9. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  10. Broken red chilli 1

Instructions

  1. CHOP 2 TOMATOES IN TO LONG PIECES
  2. FRY TILL TENDER
  3. SAUTE AND FRY
  4. IT IS DONE, ALLOW IT TO COOL
  5. ADD IN MIXIE JAR
  6. GRIND SMOOTHLY
  7. POUR THE PULP IN TO PAN
  8. ADD SUFFICIENT WATER
  9. SALT TO TASTE
  10. CHILLI POWDER
  11. JAGGERY
  12. ALLOW IT TO BOIL 3 MINUTES IN HIGH FLAME
  13. SEASONING
  14. ADD SEASONING
  15. POUR INTO SERVING BOWL
  16. GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES
