Ingredients to make Brinjal Chops (Dry)

  • Brinjal - 200 gm
  • salt - required quantity
  • chilli powder - 1 - 11/2 tsp
  • Garam masala - to sprinkle
  • oil - to roast
  • (In a pan add oil, and chilli powder before it gets heated.
  • And keep it aside )
  • garlic powder - 1tsp
  • lemon extract - 1 to 11/2 tsp
  • To roast and grind:
  • coconut - 1piece
  • black gram - 1/2 tsp
  • cumin seeds - 1 to 11/2 tsp
  • fennel seeds - 1/ 4 tsp

How to make Brinjal Chops (Dry)

  1. WASH AND CUT THE BRINJALS. IMMEDIATELY MIX IT WITH LEMON EXTRACT AND SALT.
  2. ADD A TSP OF OIL IN A KADAI, ADD BRINJALS IN IT. POUR SOME OIL AND FLIP IT FOR A MINUTE.
  3. ADD THE GRINDED POWDER OVER IT. FLIP IT FOR 2 - 3 MINUTES ON LOW FLAME
  4. NOW ADD GARLIC POWDER OVER IT. POUR OIL IN BETWEEN.
  5. NOW KEEP THE FLAME ON HIGH, ADD CHILLI POWDER. FLIP IT FOR A MINUTE AND SWITCH OF THE FLAME.
  6. SPRINKLE GARAM MASALA OVER IT BEFORE SERVING.
