Ingredients to make Mushroom masala

  • mushroom - 400 gms
  • For the paste:
  • onions - 3
  • green chillies - 1
  • red chilli - 3
  • garlic flakes - 10
  • ginger - 1 inch
  • water sufficient to grind
  • curry leaves - 1 spring
  • coriander - 2 tbsp
  • red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • dhania jeera powder - 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoe sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Green chilli sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Soya sace-1 tsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Mushroom masala

  1. WASH AND DICE 400 GMS BUTTON MUSHROOMS
  2. GRIND 3 SLICED ONIONS, 3 RED CHILLIES, 1 GREEN CHILLI, 1 INCH GINGER, 10 FLAKES GARLIC TO A PASTE
  3. ADD 3 TBSPS OIL TO A SAUCE PAN
  4. ADD THE GROUND PASTE AND KEEP FRYING TILL WATER IS REDUCED
  5. ADD 1 TBSPS EACH OF DHANIA JEERA POWDER AND RED CHILLI POWDER ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC. STIR FRY
  6. ADD THE DICED MUSHROOMS.
  7. LET IT COOK ON LOW FLAME UNCOVERED TILL WATER DRIES THEN ADD 2 TBSP GREEN CHILLI SAUCE
  8. 2 TBSP RED CHILLI SAUCE 1 TSP SOYA SAUCE
  9. SALT TO TASTE. MIX WELL
  10. ADD SOME GREENS TO FINISH. A SPRING OF CURRY LEAVES AND 2 TBSPS CHOPPED CORIANDER. MIX WELL
