Khaman dhokla with veggies

Ingredients to make Khaman dhokla with veggies

  • besan 2 cup seived
  • curd 1 cup
  • Warm water 1 cup
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice 1 lemon
  • ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  • Eno fruit salt 1 pack
  • Green peas boiled 1/2 cup
  • carrot 1/2 grated
  • oil 2 tablespoon
  • For tempering;
  • oil 2 tablespoon
  • mustard seeds 2 teaspoon
  • Asfetoida 1/2 teaspoon
  • curry leaves 6
  • Slitted green chillies
  • coriander leaves
  • coconut scraped 4 tablespoon

How to make Khaman dhokla with veggies

  1. Mix gram flour ,curd, salt along with warm water. Mix well. So that no lumps created. Set aside for 2 hours.
  2. After 2 hours mix well. Add veggies, ginger paste lemon juice and add eno fruit salt and oil. Heat a steamer and grease a plate.
  3. Pour dhokla batter into plate and put into steamer. Cook with covered lid for 10 minutes or till clean knife comes out.
  4. Let it cool. Add oil in another pan add all ingredients of tadka . Fry it.
  5. Pour the tempering over dhokla. Your khaman dhokla with veggies is ready to serve.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and scraped coconut. Serve with chutney.

My Tip:

You can skip veggies.
