ABOUT Mango kesari RECIPE

When you get ripe mangoes make mango Kesari out of it. This simple recipe is made without any additional sugar and the original taste of mango will enhance the flavour of this recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Very sweet variety ripe mangoes - 3
  2. Cashews - 10
  3. Rava/ sooji - 1/2 cup
  4. Ghee - 1/4 cup
  5. Water - 1 cup
  6. Cardamom powder - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Cut the mangoes into pieces and blend it without water and keep ready.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and roast the rava till it turns aromatic.
  3. Now add the pureed mango pulp and stir continuously in medium flame.
  4. Add water and close the lid and simmer for 2-3 mins till the rava is cooked.
  5. Add cardamom powder and ghee roasted cashews and give a mix.
  6. Garnish with ghee roasted cashews and serve.
