Orange yummy bar is a process of making two steps. One is lovely crumbly Crust and Orange filling on top. Crust is made out of all purpose flour, butter, sugar and salt. Filling is made with Freshly Squeezed Orange juice, orange zest, all purpose flour, sugar powder, baking powder and salt.Finally sugar powder is sprinkled evenly as a garnish. Simple ingredients yet little tricky baking makes a lovely homemade Orange Yummy Bar (Love for Crust).

  1. For the crust.
  2. All purpose flour 2 cups
  3. Butter 1cup
  4. Sugar 1/2 cup
  5. Salt 1/4 teaspoon
  6. For the Filling
  7. Freshly Squeezed Orange juice 1/2 cup
  8. Orange zest 1 teaspoon to 11/2
  9. Egg 4
  10. All purpose flour 1/4 cup
  11. Sugar 11/2 cup
  12. Baking powder 1/4 teaspoon
  13. For Garnish
  14. Sugar powder 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. INGREDIENTS FOR ORANGE YUMMY BAR(LOVE FOR CRUST)
  2. ADD BUTTER IN A BOWL.
  3. BEAT BUTTER TILL CREAMY.
  4. ADD ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, POWDERED SUGAR AND SALT TO THE CREAMY BUTTER.
  5. BEAT TILL IT COMBINES WELL.HAND MIXER TAKES FEW MINUTES MORE THAN STAND MIXER.
  6. AFTER FEW MINUTES CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE TEXTURE OF THE MIXTURE.
  7. REQUIRED CRUMBLY TEXTURE IS ATTAINED.TAKE A FISTFUL OF MIXTURE AND PRESS, IT HAS TO HOLD THE SHAPE.
  8. PREHEAT OVEN TO 180 DEGREE CENTIGRADE AND GREASE THE PAN. LINING UP WITH SILVER FOIL IS MUST.
  9. FILL THE LINING TIN WITH THE CRUMBLY MIXTURE.
  10. FLATTEN THE MIXTURE WITH THE HELP OF PALM AND TIGHTLY PRESS ALL THE EDGES.
  11. CRUST MIXTURE IS READY TO GO INTO OVEN.
  12. BAKE IT FOR 18 MINUTES AT 180 DEGREE CENTIGRADE.
  13. BAKING BEGINS..
  14. MEANTIME GET READY WITH THE INGREDIENTS FOR FILLING.
  15. ADD EGG, ORANGE ZEST, BAKING POWDER
  16. ORANGE JUICE, POWDERED SUGAR AND ALL PURPOSE FLOUR IN A BLENDER.
  17. BLEND WELL FOR A MINUTE.
  18. LOVELY CRUST IS READY.
  19. EVENLY BAKED CRUST IS READY.
  20. WHEN THE CRUST IS HOT POUR THE BLENDED ORANGE FILLING MIXTURE ON TOP OF THE CRUST.
  21. IT'S READY TO GO INTO THE OVEN.
  22. BAKE IT AT 170 DEGREES CENTIGRADE FOR 20 TO 23 MINUTES UNTIL THE TOP IS NO LONGER JIGGLY.
  23. LOVELY TOP GET STARTED TO FORM.
  24. BEAUTIFUL EVENLY COLOURED TOP IS FORMED.
  25. LET IT COOL.
  26. WHEN IT'S THOROUGHLY COOLED, DUST POWERED SUGAR WITH A STRAINER.
  27. SLICE IT WITH A SERRATED KNIFE. CUT INTO SQUARES AND PLATE IT.
  28. THREE BEAUTIFUL LAYERS CAN BE SEEN. BASE CRUST, MIDDLE ORANGE FILLING AND TOP SUGAR POWDER GARNISH.
  29. ORANGE YUMMY BAR(LOVE FOR CRUST) IS READY TO TASTE THE PALATE.
