Ingredients to make choco nest

  • home made chocolate or u can buy any chocolate
  • nuts ie ground nut,almond,cashew,pistacheo
  • raisins 1 tsp
  • sugar 1 cup

How to make choco nest

  1. Take a pan and heat sugar till it melts
  2. dry roast the nuts in a pan for 2-3 mins
  3. when the sugar is caramelised mix all the nuts and raisins
  4. mix well and keep aside
  5. in a double boiler melt chocolate
  6. Now take an idli mould and grease it with butter or oil
  7. pour 1 tsp of melted chocolate in each mould
  8. add 1 tsp of caramelised nuts and spread it evenly
  9. now spread 1 tbsp of melted chocolate and cover it thoroughly
  10. let it cool and then keep in a refrigerator for 1 hr to set completely
  11. now for the nest caramelise 2 tbsp of sugar till it is sticky and is stretched with ur fingers
  12. with the help of a spoon spread the caramel over a pan with the spoon to and fro...the caramel will be streached and form golden threads
  13. take out the chocolate and demould it carefully
  14. now in a plate put the caramel strings and over that the choco ball..
  15. serve it with chocolate sauce and sprinkle some pistachio
