Ingredients to make poha chivda

  • 1 cup flattened rice or poha
  • 1 1/2 cup rice puffs or murmura
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup nylon sabudana
  • 1/2 cup dry potato sev
  • 2 tbsp curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • salt, to taste
  • turmeric powder, as needed

How to make poha chivda

  1. Heat a wok and dry roast murmura and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in another wok and fry poha in it and keep aside.
  3. Similarly, fry peanuts, potato sev, curry leaves and nylon sabudana all separately and keep.
  4. Add all the ingredients in a bigger bowl.
  5. Add salt to taste and turmeric powder and mix well.
  6. Add raisins and mix.
  7. Store and keep in container.
