Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Hilsa fish-2 pieces (large)
  2. Mustard paste- 5 tablespoon
  3. Green chilli(slit)- 3 pieces(or as per taste)
  4. Beaten curd- 3 tablespoon
  5. Mustard oil- 4 tablespoon
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Turmeric powder- 1 teaspoon


  1. Wash the fish and pat dry with a kitchen towel.Keep aside..
  2. Take all other ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix evenly.
  3. Marinate the fish with the mixture and keep it in fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven.
  5. Transfer the fish into a baking bowl and cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake it at 180°C for 15-20 minutes.. This time can varry for different oven.
  7. Finally serve with steamed rice.Trust me its just heaven.
