Pea Paneer Bars

Ingredients to make Pea Paneer Bars

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) 250gms
  • Boiled fresh green peas 1/2cup
  • Chopped coriander 1\2cup
  • Aniseeds (saunf) 2tsp
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • lemon juice 2tsp
  • Besan (gram flour ) 4tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste 2tbsp
  • oil 1tbsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Pea Paneer Bars

  1. Blend boiled peas,coriander, aniseeds,a pinch of red chili powder and salt in a grinder to a fine paste using little water.
  2. Cut the cottage cheese vertically into two pieces make a slit in the center and fill half of the paste between the slits.
  3. Now add the remaining red chili powder, besan,lemon juice ginger garlic paste and salt to the remaining half paste.
  4. Roll the paneer bars into this mixture from all the four sides.
  5. Cook each bar on a non-stick pan using oil till they turn to golden brown color from all the sides.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite sauce.

My Tip:

To store cottage cheese, keep it in a box filled with water in the refrigerator. Keep changing water after every 3 / 4 days.
