Carrot idli

Ingredients to make Carrot idli

  • semolina 1 cup
  • carrot grated 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • water as required

How to make Carrot idli

  1. Take a bowl .
  2. Add semolina and curd .mix well.
  3. Rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Then add baking soda and salt and grated carrot.
  5. Pour 2 tsp of the batter into each greased idli moulds and stem in a steamer for 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Serve hot

My Tip:

Serve with green chutney.
