Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice 1 cup
  2. Toor dal 1/2 cup
  3. Carrot 2-3
  4. Potato 1
  5. Peas 1/4 cup
  6. Jeera seeds 1 tsp
  7. Mustard urad dal 1 tsp
  8. Ghee as required
  9. Onion 1
  10. Hing 1 tsp
  11. Tomato 1
  12. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  13. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  14. Chilli powder 2 tsp
  15. Garam masala 1 tsp
  16. Salt as required
  17. Oil as required
  18. Coriander leaves as required
  19. Coriander powder 1 tsp
  20. Water 3 cups

Instructions

  1. In pressure cooker heat ghee add mustard urad dal,cumin seeds and onion.saute it well for 5 min
  2. Add tomato,salt,all spice powders mix well.
  3. Now add veggies add little amount of water and cool for 5-10 min.
  4. After pour water and add soaked rice and dal,Hing.
  5. Check salt.and wait for 3-4 whistles.
  6. Carrot dal rice is ready
