ABOUT Desi Potato fritters with a twist RECIPE

Normally we eat French fries, pokada or wedges. This potato fritters are crispy, crunchy and comes with a twist. Try this recipe hope everyone like this plus they are perfect to serve as evening starters

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 8 to 10 potatoes medium size
  2. 2 table spoon rice flour
  3. 3 table spoon gram flour
  4. 1/4 tea spoon red chilli powder
  5. 1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
  6. 1/4 Tea spoon coriander powder
  7. 1/2 tea spoon chaat masala
  8. 1 tea spoon mix herbs
  9. salt as per taste
  10. Water for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Firstly peel off the potatoes cut them in style of fries or wedges
  2. Wash the potatoes in running water three to 4 times so that starched removed
  3. Take a bowl add all the potatoes and all the masala's including salt
  4. Now add both gram flour and rice flour
  5. Sprinkel some water and coat the flour on potatoes
  6. Mix well nicely
  7. Lastly add some green coriander mix well
  8. Keep the potatoes in freezer for 30 minutes
  9. Double fry all the fritters to make it hot and crisp
  10. Serve them with tomato ketchup
