ABOUT palak paneer RECIPE

Winters bring the comfort of all fresh green vegetables and making Palak paneer is never so comforting and tasty as in this season.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 onion
  2. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  3. 1 tomato
  4. 1 cup spinach purée
  5. 200 gm paneer
  6. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tsp kasoori methi
  9. salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a wok, heat oil and add grated onion.
  2. Sauté till light brown, then add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a min.
  3. Add tomato purée and mix well.
  4. Add salt and other dry spices and mix well.
  5. Add paneer cubes and sauté for a min.
  6. Add spinach purée and mix well .
  7. Cover and cook for 1-2 mins then switch off the gas.
  8. Serve hot.
