Carrot custard

Ingredients to make Carrot custard

  • Milk 500 ml
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • Custard powder 3 tbsp
  • carrot 3
  • elaichi powder pinch

How to make Carrot custard

  1. Boil the milk and then simmer for a few minutes
  2. Add sugar and adjust sweetness according to taste
  3. Add grated carrots and let it cook for 5 minutes
  4. Mix 3 tbsp of custard powder with 6 tbsp of cold milk
  5. Add this slurry to the milk slowly while constantly stirring to avoid lumps
  6. Finally when custard thickens take off from flame and add elaichi powder
  7. Cool it and then keep in refrigerator
  8. Serve chilled
