Ingredients to make Phulka with shredded chicken

  • For soft dough :-Atta - 200 gm, flour to dust,
  • water for making dough
  • salt -to taste
  • for shredded chicken masala :-
  • one chicken breast - 200 gm
  • turmeric powder - big pinch
  • oil or butter - 1tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • tomato puree - 2 tbsp
  • fresh cream - 1 tbsp
  • salt -to taste

How to make Phulka with shredded chicken

  1. Knead soft dough using water, salt and atta. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the chicken breast with little water,turmeric powder and salt.After fully cooked, remove bones and shred it.
  3. Heat butter,add ginger garlic paste,saute it. Add shredded chicken, chilli powder, garama masala, tomato puree and salt to taste.
  4. Saute well. Add fresh cream mix well.Now shredded chicken is ready.
  5. Separate the phulka dough into four equal balls. Roll thin round shape with the help of flour.
  6. Heat tawa and place phulka, when brown spots appear on one side, Transfer it to the phulka plate or directly keep on flame, it will puff ,switch off.
  7. Now phulka is ready.Spread shredded chicken and lightly press it.Serve hot with mint raitha or simply curd.

My Tip:

you can add chopped onions, green chillies and chopped coriander.
