ABOUT Broken wheat kheer RECIPE

It is a simple and healthy version of kheer. It is a rich source of fibre. Especially useful for growing children and old age .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dalia 1 cup
  2. Ghee 2 tablespoon
  3. Sugar 3/4 cup
  4. Milk 2 cup
  5. Caradamom powder 2 teaspoon
  6. Chopped almonds 5
  7. Raisins 10
  8. Water 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Add ghee into a Cooker and add dalia and roast it for 2 minutes. Add water and close the cooker. Cook till 3 whistles.
  2. In another pan add milk and caradamom powder. Stir constantly. When it starts boiling keep the flame medium. Cook 10 mintues on low flame and stir constantly.
  3. Open the lid and add daliya to prepared milk. Mix well and boil for 10 mintues.
  4. Add sugar and nuts and mix well. Boil it for 5 minutes. Serve hot in bowl. Your broken wheat kheer is ready to serve.
