Tornado Fries

Ingredients to make Tornado Fries

  • 4 Big potatoes
  • 1-1.1/2 teaspoon Gadralu masala
  • 1/2 Teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 dried Chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasalt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • grapes for presentation purpose
  • 4 wooden skewers
  • Spiralizer

How to make Tornado Fries

  1. Soak 4 bamboo wooden skewers in water for 10 mins
  2. Meanwhile in a bowl combine all seasonings - onion powder , garlic , chives, parsley , Gardalu masala , salt , pepper
  3. Carefully then insert a soaked skewer into a potato and gently push the skewer all through it taking care it go through the flesh and not creating a hole or cutting it
  4. Now secure a skewed potatoes into a spiralizer and spiralize it .I had use the spiralizer the image of the equipment I had use is attached

  6. In absence of any spiralizer , hold a sharp paring knife at an angle and cut in opposite direction while rolling the skewers with potatoes attached until the whole length of potatoes has been sliced .
  7. Gently push down the whole spiralized potato in complete length of skewer leaving equal gap between the slices
  8. Season the spiralize skewed potatoes with the pre mix seasoning
  9. Deep fry until it attains enough crispiness
  10. Garnish with parmesan cheese and sprinkle slight seasoning on top of it again and attaché grapes on it ends .
  11. Serve it immediately .Enjoy !!
