Strawberry fruit pieces - 2-3 tablespoon for garnish ( Optional )
Sweet curry leaves
Baking powder -1 teaspoon
Meetha soda - 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions
Mix all ingredients ( sooji , curd , grated ginger , chopped 1 small green chilli , salt , turmeric powder , oil 1 tablespoon , strawberry crush , strawberry essence and water ) and make a medium thickness batter .
Don't add baking powder and meetha soda at this stage .
Grease the pot with oil in which this Fruitty Dhokla is to prepare
Now before pouring the prepared batter , add baking powder and meetha soda just before keeping in microwave .Mix well
Keep in microwave for 2min 20 second..Keep it for few more sec if one finds some liquid layer on top.Dont keep more then this otherwise Dhokla become hard .Batter consistency should be right also .
Check with tooth pick .It should come out clean. Keep it for sometime to cool down .
Now prepare for tempering .Heat the 2-3 tablespoon oil in a pan and add mustard seed into it .When it crackles add 2-3 green chillies and sweet curry leaves ..
Add this tempering over the Dhokla
Garnish with strawberry fruits pieces and serve with cranberry chutney ...
