Ingredients to make Instant Homemade Kulcha

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1.5 tsp powder sugar
  • 1 tsp Nigella seeds
  • 1/4 cup curd
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • water as required
  • butter as required

How to make Instant Homemade Kulcha

  1. TAKE 2 CUPS WHEAT FLOUR, ADD 1.5 TSP POWDERED SUGAR, SALT, 1 TSP BAKING SODA
  2. ADD 1/4 CUP CURD, 2 TBSP OIL
  3. ADD WATER, KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH
  4. APPLY OIL, COVER & KEEP ASIDE FOR 30 MINS
  5. DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO SMALL BALLS, ROLL
  6. SPRINKLE SOME NIGELLA SEEDS, ROLL
  7. FLIP THE ROTI, BRUSH WITH WATER
  8. PLACE THE WET SIDE DOWN ON A HOT TAVA
  9. WHEN BUBBLES START FORMING, FLIP THE TAVA, COOK ON DIRECT FLAME
  10. KULCHA IS READY
  11. APPLY BUTTER ON TOP
