  • 1 bowl - Full Fat Milk
  • 1/2 bowl - sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon - baking soda

How to make Homemade Condensed Milk

  1. FOLLOWING ARE THE INGREDIENTS
  2. ON LOW - MEDIUM HEAT, ADD MILK IN HEAVY BOTTOM PAN / SAUCE PAN
  3. AS MILK GET HEATED, ADD THE SUGAR
  4. STIR OCCASIONALLY & LET IT COOK FOR 10-15 MINS (OR TILL MILK STARTS THICKEN)
  5. THE MILK IS JUST STARTED THICKENING, COOK TILL SUGAR GETS CARAMELISED.
  6. THIS IS THE STAGE, WHERE SUGAR IS GETTING CARAMELIZED TOTALLY
  7. SWITCH OF THE FLAME AS THE SUGAR GETS CARAMELIZED AND ADD BAKING SODA & STIR.
  8. BAKING SODA MAKES THE CONDENSED MILK THICK AS WELL AS FROTHY, MIX & LET IT GET COOL DOWN COMPLETELY
  9. THIS KIND OF COLOUR & TEXTURE WILL COME WHEN CONDENSED MILK IS COMPLETELY COOL DOWN

There should no need for any of these. Just blend butter & some hot water. When mixed, add enough milk powder & sugar. U will get condensed milk. Try to use unsalted yellow butter. To get exact colour.
