Sweet potato jalebi

Ingredients to make Sweet potato jalebi

  • Sweet potato - 3 cups (1 kg) boiled
  • maida - 1 cup.
  • Milk powder - 1 cup
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • ghee - 2 tbsp
  • cardamom powder - 2 tsp
  • sugar - 1 kg
  • Oil + ghee for fry

How to make Sweet potato jalebi

  1. Boil potato and peel them.
  2. Mix mashed potato with Maida, milk powder, cardamom powder, ghee and baking soda , properly mix it well and leave for 30 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls and give it a shape of jalebi.
  4. Make all the jalebies
  5. Deep fry them in hot oil ghee mix on the low flame till light brown colour.
  6. Dip in 1 string sugar syrup for 20mins.
