Ingredients to make Sweet Potato Gulab Jamun

  • Sweet potatoes 3-4
  • sugar 1 cup
  • water
  • cardamom
  • pistachios
  • maida 1/2 cup
  • oil

How to make Sweet Potato Gulab Jamun

  1. First we will make sugar syrup by adding water, sugar and cardamom in a pan.
  2. Now boil sweet potatoes in a pressure cooker by adding water. After boiling peel them and then mash them.
  3. Now take mashed sweet potatoes and maida. Make dough of it. Make small balls of it.
  4. Heat oil in kadhai then deep fry those balls.
  5. Add those balls in sugar syrup.
  6. Finally garnish it with grated pistachios and serve.

My Tip:

You have to add those balls when sugar syrup is hot. means you can prepare sugar syrup at last also.
