Maasi Sambal

Ingredients to make Maasi Sambal

  • coconut : Half
  • Crushed maasi fish or readymade maasi fish powder : 2 tablespoons
  • shallots : 10
  • Red chillies : 4
  • tamarind : a small gooseberry size
  • salt : to taste

How to make Maasi Sambal

  1. In a mixie jar add all the ingredients given
  2. Do not add water
  3. Grind it into course dry paste
  4. Transfer it to a bowl and mix with spoon slightly
  5. Maasi sambal is now ready to serve
  6. Crushed aasi fish will be available in shops or maasi powder is also available.. we can use both..
