ABOUT Bread pakoda RECIPE

It is panjab traditional snack . Everytime when panjabi people want to have some snack then first option is bread pakoda or samosa. Its favourite dish of my husband. So i frequently made these for him.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chickpea flour or besan 1 cup
  2. Rice flour 3 tablespoon
  3. Semolina 4 tablespoon
  4. Ginger garlic grated 2 tablespoon
  5. Kasoori methi 1 tablespoon
  6. Green chillies chopped 2
  7. Coriander leaves chopped 3 tablespoon
  8. Coriander seeds crushed 1 teaspoon
  9. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  10. Carrom seeds 1 teaspoon
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Dry mango powder 1 teaspoon
  13. Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  14. Turmeric Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  15. Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
  16. Oil 2 tablespoon
  17. Baking Soda 1 pinch
  18. Water for making batter
  19. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.
  2. Now add oil and mix well. Add water slowly and make a running consistency batter. Keep aside for 10 mintues.
  3. After 10 minutes mix it well. Cut the bread in triangles.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Dip the bread triangles in batter and leave in hot oil.
  5. Fry from both sides till it crispy.
  6. Remove it on kitchen towel. Make other in the same way. You can make 15 pieces from this batter. Your crispy bread pakodas are ready to serve. Serve it with green chutney.
