Raw Papaya Salad

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 small raw papaya
  2. 200gm green beans
  3. 200gm cherry tomatoes
  4. 1/2 each red and yellow peppers
  5. 4-5 pods garlic
  6. 3-4 red chillies
  7. Juice of 2 Lemons
  8. 2 tsps brown sugar
  9. 200gm peanuts
  10. green onions


  1. Peel and grate the papaya.
  2. Slice the beans and blanch for 1 min in hot water.
  3. Slice the green onions, peppers and cherry tomatoes
  4. In a mixer, grind together the garlic, red chillies, brown sugar one lemon juice, till it is mixed and the colour becomes red.
  5. Mix all the vegetables with the raw papaya and pour the chillies dressing over them, add salt and mix.
  6. Roast the peanuts. Pound them roughly and mix in the salad just before serving.
