Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2 sweet potatoes
  2. Refined flour as required for binding
  3. Khoya or evaporated milk 200 gm
  4. For sugar syrup
  5. 2 cups sugar
  6. 2 cups water
  7. Few green cardamom
  8. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil the sweet potatoes very nicely
  2. Mash the potatoes nicely so that no lump is there
  3. Add flour as required for binding and make a smooth dough
  4. Make equal balls from the dough
  5. Flatten the balls and put some khoya at the centre as stuffing and close the ball
  6. Prepare all the balls and deep fry them
  7. On the other hand prepare the syrup
  8. Fry the balls and put them in the syrup.
  9. Do not keep the balls in the syrup for too long because the balls will come mushy.
  10. Sweet potato gulab jamuns are ready now.
