Chat is favourite of all. Before it I make chicken pop corn but here is my new innovation in form of potato pop corn.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 250 gm Baby potato
  2. For marinate: 1 tsp cumin
  3. 1 tsp fennel powder
  4. 1 tsp pepprika powder
  5. Few dill leaves
  6. 1 tsp chat masala
  7. 1 tsp lemon juice
  8. salt to taste
  9. For double coating:
  10. corn flour 1/2 cup
  11. corn flakes 1 cup
  12. maida 1/2 cup
  13. Bread Crumbs 1/2 cup
  14. oil for frying
  15. Chat ingredients:
  16. curd
  17. Green chutney
  18. tamarind and dates chutney
  19. Roasted chana dal
  20. Bhujiya sev
  21. tomato and onion, chopped
  22. Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  23. Roasted cumin powder
  24. Chat masala
  25. Red chilli powder
  26. lemon juice


  1. Half boil the potato and peel it. In a bowl, marinate masala and potato. Mix well carefully, do not break the potato.
  2. In another bowl corn flour and maida mix and prepare a paste for coating.
  3. Now heat oil and take one by one marinate potato double coat it in this sequence: corn starch, bread crumbs again in corn starch and corn flakes.
  4. Deep fry it till crisp and dark brown in colour.
  5. Serve with already prepare chat ingredients.
  6. Sprinkle all the dry masala over it and serve hot for best taste.
