    Wacky Chocolate Cake (Egg less)

    Ingredients to make Wacky Chocolate Cake (Egg less)

    • 1 and ½ cup all purpose flour
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
    • 75 gms (1/3 cup) butter
    • 1 cup warm water
    • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    • Ganache Ingredients:-
    • 100 gms dark chocolate
    • 4 tablespoons low fat cream

    How to make Wacky Chocolate Cake (Egg less)

    1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Grease and line an 8 inch round cake tin.
    2. Blend together a mixture of the ingredients, flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    3. Take another bowl and mix thoroughly the butter, water, vanilla essence and vinegar.
    4. Add the dry and wet ingredients together until finely blended.
    5. Bake for 30 minutes or check by inserting a toothpick in the centre and check if it comes out clean.
    6. Remove the cake from the oven and keep it in a wire rack to cool.
    7. Ganache Preparation method:-
    8. Heat the chocolate and cream together in a heavy bottom pan on a small flame.
    9. Stir the mixture constantly until the chocolate melts.
    10. Take the pan off the heat and stir briskly until it becomes smooth and shiny. The ganache will thicken as it cools down.
    11. Pour the ganache evenly on the cake.

    My Tip:

    Serve it simply frosted with ganache or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, either way it tastes great!
