ABOUT Sweet Potato Nuggets RECIPE

Nuggets are the very tasty and inviting snack that coiuld be served as starter or snack or light tiffin for any occasion. This Sweet Potato nuggets are simply exotic in taste and appearance with its crispy texture.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Sweet Potatoes 4
  2. Paneer 50 gms
  3. Red chilli powder 1 tea spoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Amchur powder 1/2 tea spoon
  6. Garam masala Powder 1/2 tea spoon
  7. Finely chopped almonds and cashews 2 table spoons
  8. Corn Flour 3 table spoons
  9. Bread crumps or Rusk Powder 1 cup
  10. Seasoning herbs 1 tea spoon (optional)
  11. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the sweet potatoes, peel off the skin, mash them and keep aside.
  2. Grate the paneer
  3. In a broad bowl add mashed sweet potatoes, paneer, salt, chilli powdr, amchur powder, garam masala ;owder, seasoning herbs, chopped nuts and mix well.
  4. Take gooseberry size balls from the mixture and roll them into desired shape , keep aside.
  5. In a bowl add corn flour and some water, pinch of salt and make a batter like milkshake consistency.
  6. Keep the bread crumps or rusk powder in a plate.
  7. Dip the nuggets in to the corn batter and roll them on the bread crumps. Do this for all the nuggets
  8. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry to golden brown.
  9. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
