Sweet Potato Nuggets

Ingredients to make Sweet Potato Nuggets

  • Sweet potatoes 4
  • paneer 50 gms
  • red chilli powder 1 tea spoon
  • salt to taste
  • Amchur powder 1/2 tea spoon
  • Garam masala Powder 1/2 tea spoon
  • Finely chopped almonds and cashews 2 table spoons
  • Corn flour 3 table spoons
  • Bread crumps or Rusk Powder 1 cup
  • Seasoning herbs 1 tea spoon (optional)
  • oil for frying

How to make Sweet Potato Nuggets

  1. Pressure cook the sweet potatoes, peel off the skin, mash them and keep aside.
  2. Grate the paneer
  3. In a broad bowl add mashed sweet potatoes, paneer, salt, chilli powdr, amchur powder, garam masala ;owder, seasoning herbs, chopped nuts and mix well.
  4. Take gooseberry size balls from the mixture and roll them into desired shape , keep aside.
  5. In a bowl add corn flour and some water, pinch of salt and make a batter like milkshake consistency.
  6. Keep the bread crumps or rusk powder in a plate.
  7. Dip the nuggets in to the corn batter and roll them on the bread crumps. Do this for all the nuggets
  8. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry to golden brown.
  9. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.

My Tip:

Raisins could be added with nuts to give extra punch in taste.
