Ingredients to make Jackfruit shaami kabab

  • Raw Jackfruit(diced)2 cups
  • chana dal 1 cup
  • onions 2
  • ginger 1inch piece
  • garlic 5-6
  • cumin seeds 1tsp
  • cloves 4
  • Black cardamom 2
  • Green cardamom 2
  • peppercorns 1/4tsp
  • nutmeg a small pinch
  • mace a s pinch
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • salt
  • green chillies 4-5

How to make Jackfruit shaami kabab

  1. Take cut raw jackfruit into pressure cooker
  2. Add chanadal
  3. Now grind ginger,garlic, green Chilli, cumin seeds,cloves, cardamom, nutmeg, mace,peppercorns and onion.
  4. Then add grind into pressure cooker.
  5. Add red chilli powder, salt and 1 cup water
  6. Cook for 10 minutes
  7. Now grind it into smooth paste
  8. Heat oil add chopped onions, green Chilli and fry till onions are light brown
  9. Add this fried onion and coriander leaves into grind paste.
  10. Heat a charcoal and keep it in the centre.
  11. Add some ghee
  12. As the smoke comes out cover it with a lid and keep it for 10 minutes
  13. Make Tikkis and fry till golden brown
