Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1/2 kg Chicken(bone /boneless)
  2. To grind: coriander leaves - a handful
  3. 15 - Curry leaves
  4. 3 green chillies
  5. 1 1/2 to 2 tsp chilly powder
  6. 1 inch piece ginger
  7. 4 cloves garlic
  8. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  9. Few drops of red food color (optional)
  10. 1 tbsp Rice flour
  11. 1 tbsp All Purpose flour
  12. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  13. 1 tbsp curd
  14. oil to deep fry
  15. salt to taste


  1. Grind the ingredients listed under to grind into a coarse paste.
  2. To the ground paste add all the ingredients except flour (rice and all purpose flour). Marinate for a minimum of 4 hours or better overnight.
  3. Before frying, coat in the flours. Deep fry and serve hot.
