Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Methi (Raw) - ½ Bunch
  2. Potato - Boiled & Mashed-1½ Cup
  3. Green Chilli - Chopped -1
  4. Ginger - Grated - ½ Inch
  5. Cashews - ¼ Cup
  6. Oats - 1 Tbsp
  7. Dhania Powder - 1 Tsp
  8. Roasted Jeera Powder - 1 Tsp
  9. Amchoor Powder - ½ Tsp
  10. Heeng - A Pinch
  11. Garam Masala - A Pinch
  12. Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1/8 Tsp
  13. Salt - To Taste
  14. Cooking Oil - 2 Tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a vessel. Add Methi & Salt.Boil for 3 minute & switch off the flame.
  2. Let it rest in water for 7-8 minute. Strain the water. This should be 1/3 cup boiled Methi.
  3. Heat Oil in a pan. Add Cashews. Once it starts changing color, Add Ginger & Green Chilli.
  4. Add Jeera, Amchoor, Chilli, Dhania Powder, Heeng and Garam Masala. Cook for a minute.
  5. Squeeze, chop & add methi. Add Salt. Cook for 8-10 minute on medium - low flame.
  6. Add Oats to soak any water left in methi. Cook for a minute. Switch off the flame.
  7. Add Potato. Mix well. Carve into medium size Tikkis.
  8. Heat Oil for deep frying. Add Tikkis in 2 batches. Flip & Cook.
  9. Take out once they turn crispy from both sides. Keep on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  10. Serve Steaming Hot :)
