About Nankhatai Recipe

Mouth melting indian biscuits, to be served with tea.

Nankhatai

Ingredients to make Nankhatai

  • Refined flour 1 cup
  • Gram flour 0.5 cup
  • Samolina 2.5 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar 0.5 cup
  • baking soda 1 Tsp
  • salt a pinch
  • cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • ghee 0.5 cup
  • Crushed nuts

How to make Nankhatai

  1. Sieve all refined flour, gram flour, semolina, powdered sugar, baking soda and salt together.
  2. Add nuts and cardamom into the mixture and mix everything together.
  3. Add ghee in this little by little and make a stiff dough.
  4. Grease the baking tray and pre heat the oven at 150°c.
  5. Make 1.5 inch balls out of this dough and slightly press them. Now place this in the tray and put it in oven and let it bake for 20 minutes at 150°c.

My Tip:

Be careful with clarified butter while adding it in the mixture. Serve it with chai. Enjoy
