Ingredients to make Instant khandvi

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 3/4 cup yoghurt
  • 1-1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ginger Chilly paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1- 1/3 cup water
  • Tempering-
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • Few curry leaves
  • Fresh coconut
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves

How to make Instant khandvi

  1. TAKE 1 CUP GRAM FLOUR , ADD 3/4 CUP YOGHURT, 1 TBSP GINGER- CHILLY PASTE
  2. 1-1/4 TSP SALT, 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, ADD LITTLE WATER AT A TIME
  3. MAKE A LUMB FREE BATTER USING 1-1/3 CUP OF WATER
  4. ADD 1.5 CUP WATER, PLACE A STAND AND PUT THE KHANDVI BATTER ON IT. PRESSURE COOK FOR 6 WHISTLES.
  5. TAKE OUT THE BATTER AND STIR VIGOROUSLY
  6. IMMEDIATELY SPREAD THE BATTER ON STEEL TRAY
  7. I HAVE SPREAD BOTH SIDES OF THE TRAY, LET IT COOL
  8. TEMPERING- HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 1 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS, 1 TSP SESAME SEEDS & FEW CURRY LEAVES
  9. APPLY THE TEMPERING ON KHANDVI
  10. SPRINKLE SOME FRESH COCONUT AND CORIANDER LEAVES
  11. CUT INTO 2" STRIPS
  12. ROLL THE STRIPS
  13. SPRINKLE SOME POMEGRANATE, COCONUT AND TEMPERING OVER IT
