Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. boiled potatoes - 2
  2. 1/2 cup green peas [boiled]
  3. 1/2 bread crumbs
  4. 1 tsp chaat masala powder
  5. salt
  6. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  7. 1/2 cup tamarind pulp
  8. 1/4 th cup soaked almonds
  9. 1 cup chopped coriander leaves
  10. oil
  11. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  12. 1-2 green chillies [chopped]
  13. 1-2 sliced tomatoes
  14. chopped coriander leaves


  1. Mix the boiled and mashed potatoes with coriander leaves, red chilly powder, salt and chaat masala. Mix well.
  2. Now make some small balls out of the mix.
  3. Now coat these with the bread crumbs.
  4. Now grind the almonds into a coarse paste.
  5. Now cook this paste with tamarind, mustard seeds. Then add sugar and salt. add water for the syrup.
  6. Now deep fry the cutlets in hot oil
  7. now garnish with tomato slices, coriander leaves and serve with the chutney.
