This is a delicacy from kashmir, a delicious and yummy desert made with semolina and milk.

Rava Phirni

Ingredients to make Rava Phirni

  • Rava 1 cup
  • Milk 3 cup
  • sugar 3 tsp
  • salt a pinch
  • Soaked sabja seeds 1 tsp
  • ghee 1/2 tsp
  • saffron threads 6-7
  • Hot milk 4 tsp
  • Milk maid 1/4 cup
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • raisins few
  • almonds finely chopped 1 tsp
  • rose petals few

How to make Rava Phirni

  1. BOIL 3 CUP OF MILK
  2. CONTINUOUSLY STIRRING ADD RAVA 1 CUP
  3. STIR TO AVOID LUMPS
  4. WHEN THE TEXTURE THICK, ADD SAFFRON MILK AND MILKMAID
  5. ADD SUBJA SEEDS
  6. SUGAR
  7. SALT, GHEE
  8. RAISINS
  9. CARDAMOM POWDER, MIX WELL, TURN OFF THE FLAME
  10. SERVE IN BOWLS
  11. GARNISH WITH ALMONDS, CHERRIES AND ROSE PETALS
