Ingredients to make Paneer Butter Masala

  • paneer-100grams(cut into small cubes)
  • onion-2chopped
  • tomatoes-3 chopped
  • ginger-1 inch
  • garlic-6 cloves
  • cashew nuts-1/4cup
  • oil-1/4cup
  • butter-2teasooons+1teaspoon
  • cream-2teaspoons+1teaspoon
  • Tumeric powder-1teaspoon
  • coriander Powder-1teaspoon
  • red chilli powder-1teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder-1teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander leaves-1/4cup
  • Dry kasuri methi-1teaspoon
  • Charcoal-1small
  • Mustard oil or ghee-1 teaspoon

How to make Paneer Butter Masala

  3. ADD 1/4 CUP OIL IN A KADAI
  4. ADD 3 CHOPPED TOMATOES,2 CHOPPED ONIONS,1 INCH CHOPPED GINGER,6 GARLIC CLOVES AND 1/4CUP CASHEWNUTS
  5. FRY ALL THESE ITEMS ON A MEDIUM FLAME
  6. FRY UNTIL ALL ARE WELL COOKED,SPECIALLY TOMATOES ARE SOFT
  7. ADD THESE IN A MIXER GRINDER
  8. ADD 1/ 2 CUP COLD WATER AND GRIND TO MAKE A FINE PASTE
  9. SEE THE PASTE IS SMOOTH,ADD TWO TEASPOONS BUTTER IN A KADAI
  10. ADD THIS PASTE INTO THE BUTTER
  11. FRY UNTIL ALL WATER OF THE PASTE WILL BE EVAPORATED
  12. ADD 1 TEASPOON TURMERIC POWDER,1 TEASPOON CORIANDER POWDER AND 1 TEASPOON RED CHILLI POWDER
  13. 1 TEASPOON GARAM MASALA POWDER AND SALT TO TASTE
  14. ADD 1 CUP WATER
  15. LET THE WATER BRING TO BOIL
  16. ADD PANEER
  17. CRUSH DRY ROASTED KASURI METHI AND ADD TO THE GRAVY
  18. ADD 2 TEASPOONS CREAM
  19. LIGHT A CHARCOAL ON MEDIUM FLAME GAS(THIS IS OPTIONAL)
  20. PUT A SMALL CLEAN BOWL IN THE MIDDLE OF GRAVY
  21. ADD LIGHTED CHARCOAL INTO THE SMALL BOWL,POUR 1 TABLESPOON MUSTARD OIL OR GHEE INTO THE BOWL..
  22. COVER THE KADAI WITH LID FOR 5 MINUTES
  23. THEN TRANSFER PANEER BUTTER MASALA INTO A SERVING BOWL
  24. ADD 1 TEASPOON BUTTER
  25. ADD 1 TEASPOON CREAM
  26. ADD CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES
  27. SEE THE CREAMY TEXTURE OF PANEER BUTTER MASALA'S GRAVY
