ABOUT Peanut chutney RECIPE

It is a traditional south indian chutney receipe. Always served with idli, dosa, vada, uttapam .

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Peanuts 1 cup roasted
  2. Ginger 1 inch
  3. Green chilli 1
  4. Bengal gram 2 tablespoon soaked
  5. Urad dal 2 tablespoon soaked
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Water 1/4 cup
  8. For tempering:
  9. Oil 1 tablespoon
  10. Curry leaves 8
  11. Mustard seed 2 tablespoon
  12. Asfetoida 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixer and make a smooth paste.
  2. Remove it in a serving bowl. Heat oil and add ingredients of tempering.saute it for 2 minutes. Pour this tempering over chutney and serve with idlis.
