Ingredients to make Coconut barfi

  • 2 cups desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup milk maid
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter
  • 1 table spoon chocochips
  • 1tsp green colour
  • 1.5tsp red colour
  • 1tsp ghee to grease plate

How to make Coconut barfi

  1. ADD 2 CUPS COCONUT POWDER
  2. ROAST ON MEDIUM FLAME TILL AROMA EMANATES
  3. ADD ONE CUP MILK MAID
  4. MIX WELL &COOK FOR 7 TO 8 MINUTES
  5. ADD 1 TBSP CLARIFIED BUTTER
  6. TAKE IT OUT WHEN MIXTURE STARTS LEAVING SIDES
  7. DIVIDE INTO 2 PARTS AS 1/3 AND 2/3
  8. MIX GREEN COLOR IN SMALL PORTION
  9. MIX RED COLOUR IN BIGGER PORTION
  10. GREASE A LID OF ANY BIG CONTAINER
  11. PLACE GREEN PORTION ON THE SIDE OF THE LID
  12. PLACE RED MIXTURE ABOVE GREEN PORTION
  13. PLACE SOME CHOCOCHIPS PORTRAYING AS THE WATER MELON SEEDS
  14. CUT INTO TRIANGULAR SHAPES
