jack fruit kofta curry

Ingredients to make jack fruit kofta curry

  • small size jackfruit pealed and crushed
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 spoons garlic paste
  • 1 spoons ginger paste
  • 2 onion paste 1 spoon poppy seeds
  • 1 spoon Garam masala
  • 1 spoon chilly powder
  • 1 spoon tarmaric
  • 2 spoon salt
  • 1 spoon pepper powder
  • small amount of coriander for garnishing
  • 2 spoons of gram flour

How to make jack fruit kofta curry

  1. for kofta balls :
  2. first crush jack fruit mix salt pepper chilly powder turmeric garam masala ,according to taste add small amount of garlic ginger oonion paste add 2 spoons of gram flour and poppy seed and bind them in small balls .
  3. Heat ample amount of oil and deep fry the koftas in them, keep them aside.
  4. For the gravy :
  5. Heat some oil in a pan ,add remaining onion garlic ginger paste let it get browned . Add chilly, pepper, tamarind ,Garam masala .
  6. let it cook properly & add water. bring upto boil and the drop the kofta balls to it. garnish with coriander

My Tip:

Jack fruit should be raw and the kofta should bind properly they should be fried at high flame
